Finding the right practitioner

I wanted to talk about our qualifications or as I like to call them, "the million dollar 💰 bits of paper" that we have to show people so they can see we have a certain level of expertise in that area. For myself, I have quite the collection of qualifications now, 👨🏻🎓 I even have some letters I can put after my name on a business card which I have worked very hard to achieve and am very proud of, but it isn't the complete essence of who I am as a practitioner.
So here's the thing...... you can have a plethora of degrees, diplomas and certificates and may have graduated at the top of your class with distinctions, but it doesn't always make you a great practitioner. Ever seen a specialist who is at the top of their field, but has absolutely no bedside manner and makes you feel really uncomfortable? 👩🏻⚕️
The point I'd like to make here is that, when you embark on your healing journey and start researching potential practitioners, it is important to make sure that the person has a sound level of expertise in their field, but equally important is to find a practitioner who feels right for you.
Don't be bedazzled by the amount of "million dollar bits of paper" framed on their wall, have a conversation with them, see if they are energetically aligned with you, do they make you feel safe enough to entrust them to guide you on your healing journey? If they don't tick all these boxes, then they are not the right practitioner for you. Doesn't mean they aren't good or even great at what they do, they just aren't right for you, even if all your friends tell you they are the best.
Be assured that if you choose a practitioner based on other people's experiences and not what feels right for you, trust cannot and will not be established which will inevitably sabotage your healing journey. ☮💜
